Here is a summary of the Officer's Meeting held Tuesday, October 16th at Travelin' Dave's house:

We have 75 members.

We have $2128.17, but still need to pay FOAMSTOCK & Schifferstadt Oktoberfest expenses.

There was some discussion about using our accumulated funds to:

1. Reimburse members who take the BJCP exam, which has a fee of $50.
2. Look into giving renewing members coasters or FOAM monogrammed keychain bottle openers.
3. Getting a FOAM Corny keg & perhaps other equipment (fermenters?) for when we do our FOAM brewing demonstrations. Otherwise the brewers have to tie up their own equipment for the collective FOAM beer.

We are also out of FOAM longsleeved denim shirts. We should bring this up at the November FOAM meeting & see how many people are interested in getting more.

The November FOAM meeting will be at Hennings Restaurant in Frederick.

The November FOAM Cup will be held, and the category is Belgian Strong Ale. We may bring ONLY FOAM Cup entries, leave your other homebrew at home.

Happy Hour is this Thursday, October 18 at Bushwallers on Market St.

The Schifferstadt Oktoberfest is this weekend, October 20 & 21. John Ank will do a brewing demo on Saturday, and I (Terry Brann) will do one on Sunday. We can probably leave the FOAM canopy & banner & table up overnight Saturday, but we should check on that. Encourage everyone to come on out & help your fellow FOAMers set up & brew & clean up afterwards. Many hands make light work.

November Happy Hour will be at Hard Times on Nov. 15th.

There will be a DC Metro-based Pub Crawl on Saturday Nov 17th. The plan is to park at/near Gordon Biersch in Rockville, & take the Metro to the other places in Bethesda & DC. Here's the Website to Gordon's in Rockville:

The December Guild Holiday Party is December 1st. See previous meetings notes.

The FOAM Holiday party will be at Mike & Patti's on Friday Dec 14th.

Due to all the other stuff & holidays going on, the next Officer's meeting will be held on Dec. 11th.
